Per an emergency vote on Tuesday, the Charlotte Metro DSA steering committee elected to cancel the December general meeting in order to allow members to attend a recently scheduled protest for Palestine in Uptown Charlotte. This will be held Saturday (December 9th) at 2 PM in Romare Bearden Park. It was a difficult decision to cancel the general meeting upon such short notice. However, given the urgency of the moment and our chapter's commitment to Palestinian liberation, please join us as we support local Palestinian organizers to call for a permanent ceasefire and the end of Israeli occupation!

After the protest, we'll meet at a nearby pub to socialize, reflect on the year, and gear up for Charlotte for CATS in 2024 (see below).
